Skating Tests Applicable as from January 1st 1997 (includes 1999 amendments) |
Basic Skills
The Basic Skills awards are taught and assessed by qualified coaches up to grade five, grade six tests are assessed by FARS judges. They are taught at Skating Clubs and Rinks all over the UK.

The starting foot will also decided by draw and the (a) and (b) figures will alternate for the remainder of the test. A figure may be re-skated only one and the total number of re-skates throughout the test shall not exceed three. 20 or 21 - 22 or 23 - 24 or 25 - 26 or 27 - 28 or 29 - 30 or 31 - 32 or 33 - 34 or 35 - 36 or 37 - 38 or 39 - 40 or 41. |
